Description

The benefits of school camps are numerous. They provide students with the opportunity to develop social skills; collaborate and exhibit teamwork; develop independence skills; hone their decision making skills; gain resilience; learn new skills and get exposed to authentic nature based experiences.

Once students finish camp (either at the campsite or when they return to school), reflection about camp is a must. After a whole class discussion, our CAMP REFLECTION ACTIVITY provides an opportunity to reflect on the challenges and highlights of camp. Students complete each section, colour the pictures and fold on the dotted lines. It then folds and the students glue on the tab to join the paper so it is in the shape of a tent.
