Give your students a voice to express if they agree or disagree on a variety of age appropriate topics. This activity teaches respect for others who may not have the same opinion.
The teacher chooses one of the 78 cards to read to the class. Students must individually decide if they agree or disagree with the topic. Ask for a show of hands for each side. This activity promotes in depth classroom discussion as each child must be ready to justify their opinion and back up their point of view. The number of students to share their reasoning will depend on the time that you have available.
Perfect to use as an oral language or fast finisher activity. Laminate for durability.

I love this resource! I am a Special Needs Teacher and find that some students need additional support to share their thoughts, ideas and opinions. This would be a great resource to integrate into weekly teacher aide sessions for relevant students.
